Childrens Museum of Stockton An educational experience from the moment young visitors step through the door, the museum features hands-on, play-based exhibits that will enhance a childs understanding of how the world works.
Clever Planetarium San Joaquin Delta College The Clever Planetarium features a Spitz 512 prime sky instrument nicknamed Herman, which projects the stars on a 33 foot aluminum dome. This instrument can show the sky of any datexpast, present or futurex from any location on Earth. All the motions of the planet Earth can be simulated and accelerated so that days, years, centuries or a millennia can be made to pass before the viewers eyes in a matter of minutes.
Gary and Janice Podesto IMPACT Teen Center The center features four bowling lanes, a half-court basketball area, stage, meeting rooms, game rooms, classrooms, a computer lab, snack bar, climbing wall and more.
Haggin Museum The Haggin Museum, an art and history museum, has been referred to by Sunset magazine as one of the undersung gems of California. Its art collection features works by such noted 19th-century painters as Albert Bierstadt, Rosa Bonheur, and William-Adolphe Bouguereau, as well as many other American and European artists.

Micke Grove Regional Park and Zoo A gem with plenty of amenities, this 258-acre oak tree park features Micke Grove Zoo, the Japanese Garden, Funderwoods Amusement Park, Tea Pavilion and Koi pond, Funderwoods Amusement Park, the San Joaquin Historical Museum, softball fields and childrens playgrounds.
Oak Park Ice Arena The Oak Park Ice Arena opened in 1970, replacing Stocktons previous arena that ceased operation at the San Joaquin County fairgrounds. The arenas ice surface is 85 x 200 feet and has seating for 350 spectators.
Pixie Woods Amusement Park
Visit Stocktons own fairyland for the young in age and the young at heart. Take a ride on the merry-go-round, or board the Pixie Express Train traveling through Indian territory - but be on the lookout for pirates.
SJ County Historical Society and Museum The museum has over 40,000 square feet of exhibit and work space. Our collections have grown from a few hundred items from the estate of William G. and Julia Harrison Micke to over 50,000 items representative of the development of San Joaquin County agriculture and history.
Stockton Skate Park The skate park is a great recreational facility for all ages to enjoy one of todays most popular sports. The facility features a moon, small bowl, offset steps, half-pipe, rail, EMB, fun box, block, piano, and a star.
AG Expo and Family Ranch Show When - Three days each January Where - San Joaquin Fair Grounds, Stockton, CA The Stockton Ag Expo and Family Ranch Show, the largest annual agricultural show in northern California. Stockton Ag Expo is a regional farm show, drawing farmers and agri-businesses from Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Northern Nevada and other parts of the nation. Everything in the latest agricultural equipment and supplies needed for successful farming will be on display. Show also includes the REXPO, a recycling exposition that will showcase products made from recycled items, and exhibit manufacturers of these products as well as those companies that collect recycled materials and divert them from landfills.

Recognized by Sunset Magazine as a - Best of the West Food Fest, the festival features two performing stages, an Asparagus Alley with the best deep fried asparagus found anywhere, one of the finest celebrity chef cooking demonstration kitchens, a fabulous Spear-Its of the Valley wine and beer pavilion, a craft show, exhibits by more than 70 food purveyors and 100 specialty merchandise vendors, and much more. What began in 1985 has become a premier food fest of California.
Downtown Farmers Market When - Each Friday, May through October Where - Main Street and Hunter Square, Stockton, CA
The Friday Farmers Market and Street Faire is held on Main Street and Hunter Square. An average of 4,000 shoppers per week come to enjoy fresh produce, cut flowers, fine arts, crafts, merchandise, food and lunch time entertainment.
