	Cancellation Policy
	Reservations must be cancelled by 4:00PM 48 hours prior to arrival date(72 hours for Fri. & Sat. arrivals) to avoid a no-show charge. April 14-15 2000 must be cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date to avoid losing deposit.

Gulf Greyhound Park This racetrack offers a unique entertainment package in an air-conditoned 4-level complex, including Texas' largest full-service restaurant. Live world-class greyhound racing and pari-mutual wagering are featured year-round. The Strand District Galveston Island offers many unique shops to find that certain little item you've been looking for. The Strand National Historical Landmark District features one of the most extensive collections of restored Victorian style buildings in America, while the visitor center provides detailed information on the history of the Island. David Taylor's Classic Car Museum Features 53 vintage automobiles housed in the 1914 Marshner Building. The museum gives the atmosphere typical of a car dealership of that era, with every car in immaculate running condition. The cars range from the 1920's to 1960's models. The museum is home to a 1940 Mercury which was a gift to actress Carole Lombard from her husband Clark Gable. Other favorites include a 1936 Cadillac V-12 Convertible, a 1934 Ford Roadster, a 1927 Buick Roadster, and a 1937 Cord Phaeton 812 Mardi Gras Museum Features Galveston's Mardi Gras festivities past and present. Costime and historical memorabilia are on display as well as models of the Street Arches created for Mardi Gras.
