Turn left onto Country Club Dr. Go 1.5 miles to resort front desk on the left. Take I-40 west to Country Club Drive. Turn right onto Country Club Drive. Go 1.5 miles to resort front desk on left. (40 miles) * Montezuma Castle is an ancient "apartment house," built around 1100 A.D. (50 miles) * The Tuzigoot ruins, built between 1125 A.D. and 1400 A.D., hang from the side of a hill in a honeycomb of crude masonry walls and are now a national monument.
